Get exercise for youth with developmental disabilities

All of KEEN\’s programs are based on a single principle: pair a trained volunteer with an athlete and let them discover together how much they can do. Programs are all free, open and unstructured, allowing athletes facing significant challenges to have fun and be successful. KEEN programs are open to all youth ages 5-21 with physical or developmental disabilities. Certain programs are for select age groups only.

Find lunch programs for seniors

Congregate Meals meeting USDA dietary guidelines are offered to mobile older adults at meal sites such as senior centers, or parks, throughout Los Angeles County. The meals are provided by contracted service providers.

Get assistive technology for individuals with disabilities

Assistive technology services are adaptive, assistive or rehabilitation products or devices to assist individuals with communication, mobility, learning, recreation; overcome or deal with physical or mental challenges; and help with daily life activities. Items include furniture with lifts, clothing with Velcro or snaps, scooters/walkers, grab bars, hearing devices and amplifiers, seat lifts and motion sensors.

Join an assisted living facility for seniors

Hacienda Grande offers an assisted living facility for seniors where they are cared for by licensed professionals. Services include 24 hour care giving, housekeeping, transportation, laundry service, physical therapy, library, and dietary services.
