Harbor Regional Center provides free developmental disability intake and assessment services for individuals who live in the HRC service area.

The L.A. Found initiative provides free voluntary tracking bracelets for individuals living with Alzheimer\’s, dementia, and autism. The bracelet may help locate the individual if they go missing by emitting a radio frequency signal every few seconds.

Community House Sylmar provides individuals with disabilities who are experiencing homelessness a temporary safe and stable place to sleep while they secure their permanent housing.

AbilityFirst\’s Claremont Center, Joan & Harry A. Mier Center, and Long Beach aquatics programs provide warm water exercise classes for individuals with disabilities to promote joint flexibility, range of motion, and muscle tone.

Institute for the Redesign of Learning Transition & Adult Services (TAS) offers life skills and job training to youth and adults with developmental disabilities, emotional health or mental health issues, and/or dual diagnoses. Services include training in social skills, independent living, and job placement opportunities.

City of South Pasadena offers dial-a-ride service to residents age 55 and older and city residents with disabilities. Wheelchair lifts are available in all vehicles. Registration is required and all rides are by appointment only.

GLAD’s HIV Prevention Program provides services to deaf/hard of hearing women. Sessions include risk reduction counseling, negotiation skills, testing and screening referrals, and updated HIV/AIDS resources.

The Adaptive Skills Training helps individuals ages 18 and up develop skills leading to greater independence in their communities and at home.

InClusion Services provides Adaptive Skills Training (AST) to help individuals with developmental disabilities live independently. The program includes helping participants with a job search.

The User-Subsidy Taxicab Program is available to registered Dial-A-Ride members who have transportation needs to pre-approved Medical Facilities outside of the City of Norwalk and accessible taxicab voucher service. A Swipe TaxiCard is required to use this service.

Disabled Resource Center of Long Beach provides computer classes for people with disabilities and seniors.

AbilityFirst offers accessible, affordable housing for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. The Crown House is for adults, and Sierra Rose is for seniors. Both provide group residential housing for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. Each facility offers shared bedrooms, a community living room and kitchen, outdoor areas for recreational activities, and social and recreational opportunities off-site.

The Jay Nolan Community Services (JNCS) Training program provides training to new employees so that they are equipped with the information and skills they need to be successful on the job, as well as ongoing training.

The Government Benefits Advocacy/Access to Mental Health Services Project helps people apply to Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and other Social Security benefits. Services include applying for benefits, benefits termination, overpayments, and appeals.

LADOT\’s Cityride program offers participants reduced costs for the purchase of Cityride Dial-A-Ride (DAR) services and City of Los Angeles permitted taxicab rides and free DASH bus rides.

Carson\’s Dial-A-Ride program offers seniors and individuals with disabilities taxi rides within the city\’s limits.

The Durable Medical Equipment Aid Society offers in-home mobility and bath care durable medical equipment to individuals lacking the insurance or financial resources required to aid in their daily living or recovery from an illness or injury.

The Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) provides education and counseling on Medicare and related health insurance issues for individuals who are eligible or who are soon to become eligible for Medicare.

InClusion Services\’ Adult Day Program (ADP) provides structured daily care for adults with developmental disabilities. The program provides structured full-day services and instructions to increase independence.

The Vocational Training program provides continuing adult education classes for independent living, computer training, basic office skills, job search preparation, job training in custodial building maintenance.
