Guide Dogs of America provides dogs for blind/visually impaired, veterans, individuals with autism, and facilities to become trusted companions, bringing confidence, independence, and mobility.
Get Diagnostic Services for children who may have undiagnosed developmental disabilities
ALP\’s diagnosticians assess children for developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The evaluation involves a parent interview, assessment of the child, and a recommendation meeting to discuss next steps.

The South Pasadena Senior Center hosts on-site meal service to adults 55 years and older and/or disabled persons. Advanced reservations are required and must be made 24 hours in advance. A waitlist will be maintained for walk-ins.

Homes for Life Foundation provides individual and group sessions for adults with mental disabilities. Services are of a supportive and problem solving nature and focus on reducing symptoms and functional impairments.

The Pasadena Department of Water and Power (PWP) offers three income-qualified financial assistance programs for paying electric bills. The Dial-A-Ride program provides curb to curb transportation service to its residents who are 65 years of age or older and individuals with disabilities of any age. Riders are provided transportation within the city and county areas of Montrose, La Crescenta, and within the cities of Glendale and La Canada-Flintridge.

The Ride and Go program provides free transportation to Ride and Go registered riders living in the LA County service area. Rides are provided by volunteers. Rides are subject to volunteer availabliity and must be reserved 5 days in advance.

OASIS Senior Citizen Program provides in-home support and transportation assistance for seniors. Services include visits, equipment, home modifications and deliveries of daily necessities. Service offered in Camarillo, Fillmore, Moorpark, Canoga Park and Oxnard.
