Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) provide free assistance to income eligible individuals and/or individuals over 60 who need help in completing federal and state income tax returns. VITA program specializes in assisting disabled taxpayers and non-English speaking taxpayers. TCE program provides free income tax assistance for individuals ages 60 and older.
Eligibility Requirements
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), if you: make $60,000 or less, have disabilities or, speak limited English, are active duty or retired military personnel, or a dependent. Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE), if you’re at least 60 years old.
