Adult Protective Services (APS) is a 24 hour service that receives and investigates reports of suspected abuse/neglect of a senior or dependent adult in the areas of physical, sexual, or financial abuse and caregiver neglect or self-neglect. A dependent adult is someone physically or mentally impaired ages 18-64. A senior is someone age 65 and older.
